Day 4: Machu Picchu – Cusco

On our final day of the Tour Inca Jungle Machu Picchu we will start very early at 4am. We start early in order to see the sunset from the top of Machu Picchu. This stretch will take us about 1 hr 45 minutes to reach the top and enjoy the sunrise. After we enjoy this magical view we will have a guided tour around the site, lasting approximately 2 hours, to enlighten us about the rich history of the ancient ruins around us. After our guided tour you will have free time to explore the site where you have the option to climb either Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain (both require advanced reservation and incur an additional cost). The round trip to Huayna Picchu by foot will take around 1 hr 30 mins and gives magnificent views of the valley from the top.
